HKM MSSIL and MSSIC Now Selectable under the USSF NSSL SV Commercial Solutions Opening
The Government has determined that the Adaptive Launch Solutions Topic 1A, Topic 1B, and Topic 2 submissions are Selectable under the Assured Access to Space NSSL Space Vehicle Processing Services Commercial Solutions Opening.
HKM Enterprises, Inc. announced today that its Mobile Secure Space Integration Lab (MSSIL) and Multi-mission Secure Satellite Integration Complex (MSSIC) are now Selectable under the Assured Access to Space Program Executive Office National Security Space Launch Space Vehicle Processing Services Commercial Solutions Opening FA8802-24-R-0005-000. The Government has determined that the Adaptive Launch Solutions Topic 1A, Topic 1B, and Topic 2 submissions are Selectable in accordance with the subject solicitation.
The solicitation describes the three topics as follows:
In TOPIC: 1A, AATS/AA3 seeks innovative solutions for increasing SV processing capacity at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS).
In TOPIC: 1B, AATS/AA3 seeks innovative solutions for increasing SV processing capacity at Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB).
In TOPIC: 2, AATS/AA3 seeks innovative solutions for optimizing current SV Processing Concept of Operations (CONOPS). This topic includes innovative SV processing operations that result in either a shorter processing timeline or more efficient multi-vehicle processing procedures, including multi-level security solutions. Solutions should be independent from individual SV owners.
ALS's flight-heritage, repeatable processing system separates secure payload operations from site-specific infrastructure, scaling capacity in controlled increments while maintaining common interfaces, procedures, and verification evidence across launch vehicles, space vehicles, and locations. The system spans the Mobile Secure Space Integration Lab (MSSIL), a mobile secure cleanroom for one SV campaign; the Multi-mission Secure Satellite Integration Center (MSSIC), a host center containing multiple MSSILs with shared integration and ground support equipment; and the mobile configuration of ALS's Multi-mission Secure Satellite Integration Complex (MSSIC-M), which provides relocatable integration capacity for clustered or stacked constellation processing.
